Bring Ads with You Bring sales ads with you so you can have them available if you need to call a store out on their “lowest price guarantee.” Most stores have a policy that will allow them to match or beat a lower advertised price, but will require you to show the ad as proof to process the price difference. Generally speaking, the store policy will not apply to online advertised deals, even in the case of the store website due to online only deals, but you can always print the web page where you saw the deal with the advertised price and give it a shot.

Use Store Credit Cards I’m not saying go out and max your cards. You will still have to practice budget savvy shop-

ping and make regular payments to avoid hefty interest charges, but many stores offer extra discounts and warranties if you make purchases on your store card. This, when paid in full as if it were cash, can offer extra savings benefits.

Early Bird and Night Owl Specials Many stores advertise early bird deals, gene rally between 4 and 11 a.m., to help draw in the crowd, but also offer night owl specials between the hours of midnight and 4 a.m. to draw in the crowd that doesn’t like to get up early, but would rather stay up late. Cashing in on these deals is not only a good way to beat the crowd, but it’s a good way to guarantee the getting will be good, because typically, once the deals are gone, they are gone.

With Black Friday comes the shopping, and not just for clothes and toys. Scores of travel companies offer discounted hotel rooms, vacation packages, rail passes, rental cars, cruises and flights. Hotels and resorts around the world are offering incredible booking incentives like complimentary gifts and on-site activities plus major discounts on rooms. If you yearn to escape to a warm locale to break up the cold winter months ahead, browse around online, look up your dream destinations, and see what kinds of deals you can find.

One of the best holiday gift: Studies show that an experience — a night at a favorite hotel, a trip down south — will, ultimately, provide greater happiness than a new TV or a necklace.

Like other holiday sales, some of the most compelling travel deals will be revealed at the last minute. This is typically true of airfare, so keep an eye on the Twitter and Facebook feeds of your preferred airlines for announcements, and look at your inbox if you’ve signed up for their emails.

Grandma Wanda's Easy Healing Bone Broth For Pets and People!

I've always said the people of my Grandmother's generation, were made of sterner stuff. My Polish Grandma lived through two Great World Wars. She tragically lost every member of her family during war, save my Mother. She also lost her home, and everything she owned. They were taken as prisoners of war. Literally walked through Siberia; put on cattle-cars and moved from camp to camp, through one country to the next, until finally being brought to a camp in Africa where they were kept the following, seven years. They never were allowed to return to their beloved home, Poland, but rather, were shipped off to Canada!

My Grandmother never complained. She knew the secrets of survival and how to stay strong. One of her secrets was, a good Healing Bone Broth. During the time of war, if anyone was lucky enough to find bones to boil, they literally would call this the 'corpse-reviver' as its goodness, and mineral content, could bring people back from death's door. Below, is my Grandma Wanda's restorative, Healing Bone Broth, revised, for post-war abundance (when meat was once again available)

Ingredients: ~Fill a large pot with 1 whole chicken (or chicken legs, feet, or even just the carcass itself) ~Fill pot with good water to cover bones. ~Add 2 or 3 Tbsp. Apple Cider Vinegar. This helps the bones release the marrow, minerals and their goodness into the broth. ~Add 2 or 3 crushed garlic cloves (Optional) Garlic has its own health benefits and adds taste. ~Any fresh herbs to your taste can be added in the last 10 minutes of 2nd simmering. (Optional) Directions: ~Bring water with chicken (or bones) to a rolling boil on stove, then reduce heat to simmer. ~Give it stir now and then. ~Allow to simmer until all skin and

meat falls easily away from bones.

(3 or 4 hours) ~Remove from heat. Separate meat from the bone. This cooked meat is delicious, soft and very easy on the tummy, especially as a first, solid meal if your pet has been fasted, or has been ill. ~After the meat has been separated from the bones, put the bones back in the pot and add more water and another 2 Tbsp. of Apple Cider Vinegar. ~Leave this 2nd low simmering for eight hours or overnight if safely, possible. ~When ready, strain the broth from the remaining bone and discard all bone fragments. ****Never give cooked bones to your pets! They are dangerous.**** You can use any bones really, chicken, beef, venison or even fish.

Remember that using Organic is always best. Know your sources for the meat/bones. Ensure they are clean, and grass-fed when possible.

The restorative power of bone broth is historic. Generation after generation has been buoyed, and strengthened by a cup of home-made broth.

(Don't bother with store-bought, for you or your pets, it's just not the same) Bone Broth made in this manner, is nutrient dense and anti-inflammatory. Chock-full of trace minerals that are easily absorbed by your pets, as well as bone-healthy, calcium and magnesium. From the broken down cartilage and tendons, there is glucosamine which also helps joints, even easing arthritis pain. It's soothing for the tummy and helps heal digestive tract.
