What is staging? Who needs it?

Staging is preparing the stage (your house) for a grand finale performance (for sale). Home staging is about illusions.

It's beyond decorating and cleaning. It's about perfecting the art of creating moods. Staging makes your house look Liz’ Tips bigger, brighter, cleaner, warmer, more loving and, best of all, it makes home buyers want to buy it.

Staging is what you do after you've cleaned, de-cluttered, painted, made minor repairs; it's all about dressing the house for sale.

What would it be like if The Nutcracker performance was on a blank stage without costumes or props?

Staging is about adding the small details: the lipstick, mascara and, for simplicity, a stunning, single strand of Tahitian pearls.

What makes you think that your house will sell as opposed to the similar one located three doors down?

Travel down any city street or country roads in Eastern Ontario and you will notice thousands of “House for Sale” signs.

Regardless of where it’s located or what condition it’s at, everyone is wishing their house to sell quickly and for the highest price possible.

Your house needs to sparkle: it needs to appeal to purchasers.

It needs to evoke a certain charm. It needs to be de-cluttered and organized. It needs to be staged.
