Infinite Learning is dedicated to providing the very best professional learning opportunities for teachers in Dubai, the UAE and beyond! We offer an inclusive model (no membership required) and we work with the best educational providers who have a proven track record –tried and tested by us since 2015. Education in the 21st century is all about lifelong learning. We do not know what the future holds nor upon which careers our students will embark. Therefore, we need to equip our students with a skill-set that will enable them to evolve, think on their feet, take risks, become problem solvers and keep learning. If we expect this of our students, then our teachers, our ‘facilitators of learning’ must also continue to learn.
The shift (from CPD or Professional Development) towards the term ‘Professional Learning’ supports this goal and signals the importance of educators taking an active role in their continuous development and places emphasis on their learning. In this context, educators are active partners in determining the content of their learning, how their learning occurs, and how they evaluate its effectiveness.
The most important asset of any school is its teachers. Highly trained, motivated, inspirational teachers will be the key to improving teaching and learning outcomes.
At the heart of this lies good Professional Learning opportunities for teachers. Lifelong ‘infinite’ learning, for students and teachers alike, is the key to success.
Infinite Learning is 10 years old!
MESSAGE FROM OUR CO-FOUNDERS
We can still vividly recall the moment when Infinite Learning was conceived! There was a very clear need in the market for wider CPD opportunities and we believed we could make a positive difference. Encouraged and supported by so many schools, leaders and teachers, many of whom we still work with today, we seized the day and have not looked back since!
There have of course been challenges along the way, not least of which was surviving Covid, particularly given our largely face-to-face model of delivery back then. (Something all schools can very much relate to of course!) We also remember how proud we had been to finally open the Infinite Learning office in Studio City in February 2020, only to be instructed a few weeks later to shut down and work from home! It was a trying time but as we all discovered during that period, human beings are resilient. So, we discovered, is Infinite Learning and before we knew it, we were back in the office, expanding and continuing our journey.
I0 years on, and with a small but strong team of 8, we are incredibly proud of all that we have achieved. Our work with UCL, delivering the full suite of NPQ programmes and being recognised as UCL’s largest international Delivery Partner, is certainly one of our biggest achievements. We know how valuable these qualifications and all the other CPD programmes we offer are to teachers and leaders across the region and beyond. We are proud to serve you and we are so grateful for all the support over the years. We could not have done this without you. Thank you to everyone who has believed in us and here’s to the next 10 years!
