Fit Xercise What is the duration of exercise that we need?

We need at least two hours and 30 minutes of exercise in a week of moderate aerobic activities (brisk walking or swimming) or one hour and 15 minutes of vigorous aerobic activities (running). We should also have strength training exercises at least twice a week.

As a general goal, we should include at least 30 minutes of physical activity in our daily routine. If we want to lose weight or meet specific fitness goals, we may need to increase our activity even more. If we can’t set aside time for a longer workout, try 10-minute chunks of activity throughout the day. Remember, the more active we are, the greater the benefits.
