We opened our doors in November 2020, bringing together our love for coffee, community and design into a Brisbane City outpost. Every coffee we brew here is roasted in Newstead at our flagship café & roastery, where we’re serving brunch and lunch 7 days a week. If you haven’t visited before, we’d love to show you around.

Newstead brings together two natural processed single origins from Brazil and Ethiopia. It’s a rich and fruit-drive blend with a and velvety body.

Heirloom 2000m natural
This coffee is clean and complex, offering stone fruit and tropical fruit notes with a silky finish.
This lot is balanced with chocolate and soft fruits notes, topped off with a long sweet finish. Red Bourbon 1750m washed
Heirloom Ethiopian 1750 - 2100m natural
Dari Kojuwa is a small village located in the Guji region of Ethiopia. This coffee is sourced through smallholder farmers from the village that are on average less than 10 hectares each.

The first specialty coffee bubble cup: cold brew coffee layered with coffee-soaked tapioca pearls, our house-made ‘consoy’ (a special blend of condensed milk & soy or oat milk) and ice.

Our ultimate Iced Coffee: cold brew coffee infused with wattleseed and a touch of organic panela, mixed with your choice of milk into a light, smooth iced coffee, served on ice.
