CUSTOMER: GDOC- Women's Correctional Facility- McRae, GA
SELLER: Jay Sanders (GA Gov’t AM), Dottie Dancy (Grainger DSM), Daryl Schuler (MWS) PARTNERS: Justin Elliott (Miller IDM), Tara Broughton (Miller Safety), Diana Ingels (Miller NAM), Steve Hidden (Miller Education) SITUATION: GA DOC is requesting to have a replicated welding lab quoted for a 2nd DOC location in McRae, GA (brand new
facility). They currently have a welding lab program set up in Forsyth, GA and wanted to duplicate that layout. The DOC director (said he is looking for the exact same thing for their new location in McRae.
RESULTS: We were able to get onsite with GDOC personnel and provided list of overall products. Grainger utilized the GA state contract to successfully procure this business. VALUE OF ORDER: $240,000 (2 Live Arcs, 2 Augmented Arcs, 6 welding stations, 1 central fume extraction system)
