In order to protect the invaluable lives of our customers, KEUMGANG FIREDOOR produces and supplies products strictly following legal regulations.

Fire prevention test Following the fire-resistance test method (KS F 115791:2001) for fire doors, the test measures the fire-resistance capacity of fire doors through an hour-long heating test. ●Depending on their capacities , non-insulation fire doors have to pass ⓑ,ⓒ,ⓓ. | Insulation Capacity | ⓐ The door should not catch on fire when a cotton pad is applied to the surface ⓑ During the test, 6mm crack-gages are applied to all openings on the surface except for the threshold. Gages

should not move horizontally more than 150 mm after penetrating the door. ⓒ During the test, 25mm crack-gages are applied to all openings on the surface. Gages should not penetrate the door. ⓓ Flames on the surface should not stay longer than 10 seconds during the test.

KEUMGANG FIREDOOR is producing high-quality, multi-functional, multi-system doors that have outstandingly improved upon soundproofing, anti-crime, and insulation capacity. They are widely used in Europe. (Euro champ door)

UL Classification is the classification mark for product safety.

Improvement of soundproof and anti-crime functions The three sides (high side, lock side, and top side) of the Euro champ door are made in flat wind-breaking style and double block structure. Thanks to this special soundproof design for securing a serene and comfortable indoor environment, the door has outstanding soundproof capacity. Also, with a 12mm-thick wing structure that prevents damage to the lock function, it is also equipped with flawless anti-crime capacity.

The UL Classification Mark is given to products that have passed tests and evaluations by UL, and are produced according to the follow-up service of UL. KEUMGANG FIREDOORs passed 10C, the strictest standard among fire-resistance tests, thereby proving their outstanding quality.

Improvement of insulation and condensation

Soundproof and insulation core

When used as a door for an air-conditioning plant room or as a soundproof door, the Euro champ door largely reduces energy-usage and creates a comfortable indoor environment with its soundproof and insulation core inside. By preventing water drops formed from the indoor and outdoor temperature difference, the door stops the formation of mold and bacteria, thereby creating a pleasant environment. Also, it is efficient in preventing condensation with its outstanding air-permeability and insulation.

Improvement of design

KS Certificate

The original fire door did not have a favorable design because its windbreaker on the lock reinforcement plate was a ribbed shell slab type. The three sides of the wind-breaking structure of the Euro champ door are made by a flat type, thereby able to be hidden in the doorframe. It is a high-quality door with a clean and elegant design and without any curves on its surface.
