From the CEO
Final Time
GJim Malkus CEO
reetings for the final time “From the CEO”…it’s been an honor. When I started with Indoff on March 21, 1988…
• Ronald Reagan was President of the United States (only historical marker I’ll throw down)
• My twin daughters were 5 days shy of their first birthday – they are now 39…
• I was 27 years old – do your own math…
What to share in this final newsletter contribution? A few thoughts…
• Thank you to everyone – you’ve each helped shape me in some way. Thank you to the veterans, to those who have come and gone as well as to the new arrivals – I’ve learned from you all.
• Support and be patient with one another – we’re all in this together. Sales, credit, partner support, finance, HR, recruiting, a/p, IT, collections, marketing, admin – none of us succeeds without the others. When conflict arises – and it will – address it respectfully, learn from it and get back to the business at hand.
• Trust Josh, Julie, Shawn, Colin, Courtney, Angela and the whole crew; they’re very bright and know what they are doing. Change is inevitable and good; it keeps us sharp and can lead to great success.
• Finally, treasure what you have built – a community that cares. A community that cares about doing the job the right way, that cares about our customers and most importantly, a community that cares about one another. It’s on each of us to nurture this and carry it forward every day. Here’s how I say it in the corporate staff on-boarding – we’re a distributor; no one is forced to deal with us. Treat every person with respect –customers, vendors, co-workers. Strive to leave everyone you meet no worse off than they were when you started the interaction; “no” can be delivered with respect and dignity.
That’s it; I appreciate you all, I’m very thankful for the opportunity I have enjoyed, and I wish you all continued health and success. Stay safe, stay well and thank you for all you have done for Indoff.

e know that as an Indoff Partner, your time is a valuable asset. Between finding new leads and closing deals, sitting down to write marketing emails to clients you haven’t spoken to in a while, or thinking of seasonal social media content can feel like a chore.
That is why we created Sales Packets just for you!
Think of these packets as your “Marketing Easy Button” for promoting shop.indoff.com. We have done some of the heavy lifting so you can focus on what you do best: selling. We’ll continue to make this content for each season so if you have any ideas or feedback regarding what you’d like to see in the future, please don’t hesitate to reach out to the marketing department!
What is inside our “Sales Packets”?
Each packet is curated for shop.indoff.com and based on the season and each division. The exceptions being promo since there are no promo options on shop.indoff.com, and Business Products since you have GOPD websites with unique URLs.
In each one, you will find:
• Email Templates: These are pre-written messages with links to shop.indoff.com already included. Just open the word doc that each divisional folder contains, copy, paste, change the placeholder text, and send! Keep in mind that these emails were created by the marketing department and are generic enough in nature so that ALL Partners can utilize them. That said, you’re more than welcome to change the language in the email to sound more like you.
• Professional Flyers: These are high-quality PDFs that look great whether you print them out or attach them to an email. When attached, they are interactable so that when your clients click on an image or word they are taken directly to that product or category on shop.indoff.com. Please be aware that, due to the nature of PDF’s some customers and their companies may be hesitant to interact with them.
• Social Media Posts: Much like the emails, these are pre-written social media posts that you can copy, paste, and schedule throughout the season. Along with each post also comes eye-catching branded images that you can add to each post for that visual representation and to take up more real estate on your customer’s screen. That said, every platform is different, so the messages may need to be modified if you’re posting on X compared to LinkedIn, for example.
Why should you use them?
1. Seasonal Product Spotlights: We will continue to create these Sales Packets for every season throughout the year. As such, the products will continue to change to align with the current season.
2. Save Hours of Work: No more staring at a blank screen, tracking down products, and crafting an email. Simply copy, paste, make a few quick updates, and send! The idea being that you can more easily engage with customers on a wider scale without having to curate your own messages.
3. Stay Consistent: Keep your name in front of your customers all year long with content. Maybe you only want to utilize the social media images, or perhaps you don’t want to send the product flyers but just want to utilize the email content. It’s completely up to you to decide how you’d like to utilize the content of the sales packets.
So how do you get started? It’s simple! Head over to the Global Industrial folder within the Marketing section on the Intranet to download your first packet. Find a topic that fits your current goals, copy the text, and start sharing it with your list.
Your next big sale could be just one “copy and paste” away!
President’s Message
Off to the Races
HJosh Long President
ello fellow Indoffians! Spring has sprung and we have jump-started our sales to begin the year. The first quarter of 2026 demonstrated significant positive momentum driven by double-digit growth in our Material Handling Division. We showed growth in all divisions aside from being slightly off in our Appliance Division sales.
Customers continue to invest in their businesses despite economic uncertainty. We secured 6 orders over $500K in the first quarter compared to 0 in Q1 2025. Our customers trust in the Partners to invest in large capital expenditures continues to drive the message that our Partners are the differentiator.
We continue to invest in tools and pilot new programs to jump start growth for Partners interested in growing their business. Many of you have surely noticed the new Business Overview dashboard in Confluence. This tool was created to help drive awareness for each Partner that wishes to have an overview of how things are going in their business. If you have not spent any time reviewing the tool I encourage you to do so. The tool can be found here https://my.indoff.com/confluence#/dashboard or by logging into Confluence and clicking on Business Overview under the orders section.
In March we announced our 2027 rewards trip at the Opal Sol in Clearwater Beach, Florida. I will keep coming back to this as we move through the year as I want to see as many Partners as possible qualify. Below are the qualifying parameters to receive an invite.
• Secured (booked) sales for 2026 in excess of $1.2 million or $240,000 in billed gross profits
• alternatively, minimum booked sales for 2026 in excess of $500,000 AND 10% growth over your 2025 booked sales. Here are a couple of examples:
I look forward to the continued momentum and the opportunity to work more closely with each one of you.
E-commerce Spotlight
shop.indoff.com
OCourtney Brazell Vice President, Partner Support & Programs
ur e-commerce site just hit its second anniversary, and it continues to grow into an easy way for customers to place orders, browse products, and stay connected with what we offer.
One of the biggest opportunities we see right now is getting more customers registered with logins so they can order online quickly and conveniently. The more users a customer has on the site, the easier it becomes for them to place orders, which means more opportunities for you. E-commerce not only makes it convenient for your customers, but your orders are processed with the click of a button, giving you more time to focus on building your overall business. This channel is not meant to replace your current business but to be used as an add-on to your existing projects.
One question I receive regularly is “What are customers buying on shop.indoff.com?” Below is a snapshot of what customers have purchased over the last four months. Pay particular attention to the variety of products, gross margins, and note that several of these items are repeat orders:
Customer Engagement
When talking with customers, position shop.indoff.com as a time-saving tool that works particularly well for customers with multiple locations, those who place repeat orders for their most-used items, or those who have standard products throughout their offices, e.g., chairs, shelving, partitions. At the same time, show the breadth and depth of what we offer, and that you can expand your reach into other areas of their company.
Step 1: The most important first step is to set them up with a login & password. There are two reasons for this: 1.) If your customer is already set up, any order they place will flow directly into your order history in Confluence, and 2.) While they can shop without a login, you’re removing the barrier of having to set up an account during checkout, therefore making the process seamless for your customers. When you set someone up, let them know! Send them an email inviting them to peruse the site while also providing their login and password information.
Step 2: Stay in touch with your customers! While each new user will automatically receive e-marketing once they have a login for the site (2 emails per month), it’s your responsibility to stay top of mind with them. Emphasize the ease of use, access to order history, and buildable purchasing lists. Review their current order history in Confluence and identify accounts that could benefit from the Global Industrial product selection.
Step 3: Get trained! If you haven’t scheduled a one-on-one user setup training session with Partner Support, reach out at partnersupport@indoff.com. We will walk through exactly how to set up customer logins, show you how easy it is to get customers started, and direct you to the marketing materials available to assist in your efforts. Now is a great time to jump in!
Customer Engagement
All new customers receive an Indoff tumbler for their first order, but we want to take this a step further in April! Now through the end of April, if you schedule & attend a shop.indoff.com training session with either Maureen Maxwell or Bridget Pulley, you’ll be entered into a raffle for a $50 VISA gift card (Training sessions are 30 minutes or less). In addition, if you set up 10 new users between April 20th & April 30th, you can order one Indoff-branded item from our apparel company store, free of charge: https://indoffcompanystore.tri-pod.com/
As always, if you have any questions, please reach out to partnersupport@indoff.com.
Bidding Procedures
Guidance on GC Projects
Spotting a GC Job. GC jobs work a little differently than our normal orders. Catching them early helps everything run smoothly.
What You Need to Know
Maurice Belle Credit Manager
GC orders slightly differ from standard orders in both structure and requirements. Early identification is essential to ensure proper setup and corporate compliance.
• Contact Stephanie Turner Right Away If you think a job might be a GC job, this is the first step to keep the process moving and avoids delays.
• Once you get a GC contract, send it to Stephanie immediately. We must review and approve all terms before agreeing to anything.
• If you have any questions, Stephanie can help clarify the requirements and ensure you have the proper paperwork completed.
• Key words/phrases such as – Bonds, Certified Payroll, Lien Waivers – signify that is its possibly a GC job.
• All GC Jobs have associated processing fees = additional cost to the order.
• Required documents may require additional time to obtain them.
Bidding on Jobs
We support efforts in bidding opportunities. Bids often include request for Guarantee Checks, Bonds and other terms that need company approval before you send them in.
What You Should Do
• Send Bid Packets Early Please send all bid packets to me as early as you can. This gives us time to look them over and handle anything that needs approval.
• Early notification helps prevent delays. It also gives us time to talk about margins, vendor deposit requirements, or to discuss any lingering thoughts you may have. Working together early in the process can potentially make your bid stronger and more competitive.
Thank you for your hard work and partnership. We appreciate all that you do.

When it comes to warehouse storage, it can be a jungle out there. ProDeck50 can help. Stronger and flatter than wire decking — with a weightcarrying capacity of up to 250 lbs. per square foot — it’s perfect for storing heavy parts, small hand-stacked items and everything in between.
ProDeck50 isn’t just tough. Its patented design is the industry’s first single-piece pallet rack decking that’s smooth and flat, and it offers a 50% open surface to meet NFPA13 fire and sprinkler codes.
