Park your car, unpack your things and enjoy an all-inclusive weekend filled with friends, memories and good times. A host of activities are planned but our new format allows you to design your own reunion experience. Here is a sampling of the exciting things we have scheduled:
Friday, June 2 Reunion Check-In Begins at Noon, Wilson Hall Front Porch Purple Picnic 11:30 am-12:30 pm, Barnet Commons Grab a box lunch and kick off the ultimate girl’s weekend with lunch on Barnet Commons. Summer School with Favorite Professors If you could have just one more class with anyone, who would it be? Submit your nominees and the top favorite faculty members will be invited to join. Family Style Dinner 6:00 pm, Gee Dining Hall Experience Converse dining mid-20th Century style! Some alumnae remember sitting around tables in dresses and politely asking their neighbor to “pass the potatoes” while being served by “teen waiters.” Dress for dinner like Miss Gee would approve!
After Dinner Options… Sip N’ Stroll Campus Tours Dalton Lobby, Wilson Hall Enjoy the beauty of campus in summer bloom as you learn a bit of history as well as the latest developments at Converse. Current students will guide the tour. Adult beverages served. School of the Arts Talent Showcase The Arts at Converse are stronger now than ever. We will delight you with an evening of dance, music and theatre selections. Spartanburg Pub Crawl Want to catch some nightlife with your friends? The Valkyries Shuttle will pick you up on the front steps of Wilson Hall and deliver you downtown to enjoy the tastes of Spartanburg. S’mores Before You Snore Maybe a cozy evening at the Cabin is more your cup of cocoa. You won’t be the only one! Swap stories and memories as you roast marshmallows over the fire.
