Australia-India energy ties strengthened at AIETAM 2025 in Melbourne

The Australia-India Energy Transition and Advanced Manufacturing Conference (AIETAM) 2025 was recently held at the Crown, Melbourne, jointly organised by the Centre for Australia-India Relations, RMIT, and Murdoch University.

Supported by DFAT’s Maitri Grant, the event spotlighted strategic collaboration in advanced manufacturing and energy transition.

Industry leaders, research firms, and Australia India Business Council representatives, including Victoria President Radhika Kanhai and National Chair Deepak-Raj Gupta OAM, outlined bilateral initiatives.

Molina Asthana highlighted AIBC's cross-sectoral collaboration potential, while Joe Williams linked energy innovation to defence strategy. Narasimhan Viswanathan emphasized Australia-India synergies in sectors like smart energy, space, and pharmaceuticals under the “Make with India” vision.
