AIBC strengthens Australia-India business ties at Sydney Consulate meet

The Australia India Business Council (AIBC) kicked off its leadership engagement for 2025 with a special gathering hosted by the Consul General of India in Sydney on March 6. The event served as the first AIBC NSW Member Get-Together of the year, bringing together industry leaders and business professionals committed to enhancing trade and investment ties between Australia and India.


AIBC National Chair DeepakRaj Gupta OAM outlined an ambitious vision for the year ahead, emphasizing the need for deeper collaborations across key sectors. His address focused on expanding partnerships and strengthening the role of AIBC in facilitating cross-border business opportunities.

The Consul General of India in Sydney, Dr. Janakiraman Sarvesvaran, highlighted key avenues for bilateral trade expansion, stressing the importance of close cooperation between AIBC, the Consulate, and the broader business community.
