Indian Consulate hosts startup roundtable to boost India-WA business ties

The Indian Consulate in Perth organized a startup roundtable followed by a special session on Startup Mahakumbh on February 19, 2025, at Duxton Hotel. The event aimed at strengthening business collaborations between India and Western Australia, with a focus on emerging startup sectors driving innovation and economic growth.

Discussions centered on key industries, including Artificial Intelligence (AI), cybersecurity, space, defence, IT, healthcare and Medtech, Fintech, and agriculture. The event also served as a precursor to Startup Mahakumbh, a major entrepreneurial gathering scheduled in India from April 3-5, 2025.

The roundtable saw participation from Perth-based businesses and startups, fostering dialogue on investment opportunities and cross-border collaborations in cutting-edge technology and innovation.
