Perth, February 23 (Australia India News Newsdesk)
In a tribute to motherhood and environmental conservation, a Rock Kurrajong (Brachychiton Acuminatus) tree was recently planted at Karratha Leisureplex as part of the ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ campaign.

The initiative was led by the Consulate General of India, Perth, in collaboration with the Hindu Association of Pilbara and the City of Karratha. The tree, native to the resource-rich Pilbara region, symbolizes the nurturing essence of mothers and the importance of preserving nature.

The event underscored the significance of community-driven environmental efforts and strengthened cultural ties between India and Australia through shared ecological values.
