Brisbane hosts roundtable on strengthening Queensland-India innovation ties

The Consulate General of India, Brisbane, in collaboration with Trade and Investment Queensland (TIQ) and Newland Global Group, recently organized a roundtable discussion on “Advancing Queensland-India Synergies through Innovation and Technology.”

The trade-focused event brought together over 20 distinguished delegates and experts from both Australia and India, including representatives from the Department of the Premier and Cabinet (QLD Government), TIQ, and the Digital India Foundation, alongside prominent business leaders from Queensland.

Discussions covered a range of topics, including technology partnerships, the growth of start-up ecosystems, and the role of innovation hubs in fostering cross-border collaboration. The event underscored the strategic importance of Queensland-India cooperation, emphasizing how innovation and technological advancements can drive economic growth and mutual prosperity.
