WA’s Samarthy Sangwan shines at National Shooting Competition

Samarthy Sangwan, a promising young talent from Western Australia’s Indian community, has made his mark at the national level by finishing as the top Junior Men’s shooter from the state at the recent International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) National Shooting Competition held in Sydney.

Competing in the highly contested 10m Air Pistol Junior Men category, Samarthy secured an impressive fourth place overall, narrowly missing out on a podium finish. His performance drew praise from coaches, fellow athletes, and community members alike.
The early-May event attracted the best young marksmen from across the country, and Samarthy’s achievement has been hailed as a breakthrough moment for both his sporting journey and the WA Indian community.
