Indian startups connect with Australian businesses at Sydney networking event

The Consulate General of India, Sydney, in collaboration with the Australia India Business Council (AIBC) NSW, hosted an exclusive business networking session on April 1, 2025. The event facilitated connections between Indian startups and SMEs from the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Young Indians (Yi) chapter and Australian businesses across multiple sectors.

The session, held at the Indian Consulate in Sydney, saw participation from 22 Indian businesses engaging with over 70 Australian enterprises, exploring potential trade, investment, and collaboration opportunities.

The initiative reflects growing economic ties between India and Australia, fostering innovation and partnerships in key industries.
The event provided a dynamic platform for startups and SMEs to showcase their strengths, exchange ideas, and build crossborder business relationships, reinforcing the commitment to deepening India-Australia economic cooperation.
