Empowering Migrants Expo 2025: Celebrating Diversity, Strengthening Community

By Australia India News Newsdesk

Brisbane will once again come alive with colour, culture, and community spirit as the second annual Empowering Migrants Expo returns on Sunday, August 3, 2025. Organised by Bhartiya Samaj and hosted at the iconic Brisbane City Hall, the event promises a vibrant celebration of Australia’s multicultural identity and the invaluable contributions of its migrant communities.

Building on the overwhelming success of its 2024 debut, the 2025 expo will feature an even broader program—showcasing cultural performances, interactive exhibits, community stalls, and the prestigious Migrants’ Awards ceremony, which recognises outstanding individuals and organisations making a difference.

Designed as a free, inclusive event for all ages, the expo seeks to empower migrants through access to resources, information, and networking opportunities. This year, even greater participation is expected from Queensland government departments, educational institutions, service providers, and small businesses.

At its heart, the expo embodies Bhartiya Samaj’s mission to foster unity in diversity—providing a powerful platform for migrants to connect, collaborate, and thrive in their adopted homeland.
