Brisbane is gearing up for the much anticipated second annual Empowering Migrants Expo, to be held on Sunday, 3 August 2025, from 10 AM to 4 PM at Brisbane City Hall. Organised by Bhartiya Samaj, this free, all ages event once again spots its mission at the heart of Queensland’s multicultural narrative— showcasing migrant talent, resilience, and unity.

What’s Happening?

• A full day of interactive cultural performances, art installations, community stalls, and the much-loved Migrants’ Awards Ceremony, now in its second edition.

• Nominations are open for 2025’s Migrants’ Awards, recognising individuals and organisations making an exceptional impact in migrant wellbeing, leadership, and cultural cohesion within Queensland.
