Perth, June 19 (Australia India News Newsdesk)

The Consulate General of India recently organized celebrations for the 10th International Day of Yoga (IDY) at the Institute of Health and Nursing Australia (IHNA) in Perth. Nursing students and educators participated enthusiastically in an engaging hour-long yoga and meditation session led by Yog guru Vishwanath from Art of Living Perth.

The event provided an opportunity for students and faculty at IHNA to experience the physical and mental benefits of yoga firsthand. Many attendees, already regular participants in the Consulate's weekly yoga sessions at Government House Western Australia, embraced the session as a means to enhance their overall wellbeing and relaxation.

Yog guru Vishwanath's guidance during the session emphasized yoga's role in promoting stress relief, flexibility, and mindfulness among participants.

The 10th International Day of Yoga, observed annually on June 21 globally, continues to grow in popularity as a platform for promoting holistic health and unity among diverse communities.
