ISKCON's Shri Krishna Janamostav celebrations were organized on a grand scale at the Croatian Club Brisbane, recently. The devotees and guests from all around Brisbane participated in the kirtan and bhajans.

Arrangements were also made for market stalls, free food, dramas, live music, and dance.

Sri Krishna Janmashtami is an annual Hindu festival that celebrates the birth of Krishna, who is believed to be the eighth avatar of Vishnu. The Gita Govinda, one of the holy texts of the Hindus, identifies Krishna as Supreme God from whom all other avatars are born. This festival is also known as Gokulashtami or Krishnashtami.
