Medtech opportunities in India discussed

Professor Kevin Fynn of the Faculty of Science and Engineering at Curtin University and David Izzard, Corporate Advisor at Rockford Partners, recently met with the Consul General (CG) Amrajeet Singh Takhi to discuss emerging opportunities in the medtech sector in India.
During the meeting, held at the Consulate in Perth, the trio explored potential collaborations and investments aimed at leveraging technological advancements to address healthcare challenges in India. Professor Fynn highlighted Curtin University’s cutting-edge research and innovation capabilities in medical technology, while Izzard emphasized Rockford Partners’ expertise in corporate advisory and strategic investments.
The Consul General expressed keen interest in fostering partnerships that could bring innovative medtech solutions to the Indian market. He noted the significant demand for advanced medical technologies in India and the potential for Australian institutions and companies to contribute to this burgeoning sector.
