Om’ and ‘Swastik’ unveiled at Great Stupa in Bendigo

The sacred symbols of ‘Om’ and ‘Swastik’ were unveiled at the Great Stupa of Universal Compassion in Bendigo, celebrating India’s spiritual legacy and its message of peace and unity.

Consul General Dr Sushil Kumar joined Mayor Cr Andrea Metcalf, Ian Green OAM, Chairman of the Great Stupa, local councillors, members of Sri Durga Temple (Melbourne) and the Indian community for the special event. The ceremony highlighted the universal values of harmony and inclusivity, strengthening cultural bonds within Australia’s multicultural society.
