Perth hosts sixth pre-Yoga Day event with Kannada Community

The Indian Consulate in Perth, in association with the Kannada Shala of Western Australia Kannada Sangha, recently organised the sixth curtain raiser for the upcoming International Day of Yoga 2025. The event brought together community members for a session focused on the principles and practice of yoga, ahead of the annual celebration on June 21. Organisers noted that the curtain raiser events have helped build momentum and awareness around yoga’s benefits and its relevance in modern lifestyles.

The Consulate appreciated the involvement of the Kannada community and encouraged continued collaboration for promoting wellness and cultural engagement in Western Australia.
