Arunachal team visits Melbourne for agri-tech & dairy sector engagement

A delegation from Arunachal Pradesh, led by Agriculture and Allied Sectors Minister Gabriel Denwang Wangsu, recently visited Melbourne to explore collaborative opportunities with Victoria in horticulture, dairy, and related sectors.



Consul General Dr Sushil Kumar received the delegation and held discussions on expanding ties between the northeastern Indian state and Victoria, with a focus on sustainable agriculture and allied industries. The group also visited the University of Melbourne, where they engaged with researchers and faculty in areas including agri-technology, animal husbandry, veterinary science, and dairy development. The visit reflects growing interest in building partnerships between Indian states and Australian institutions to enhance agricultural innovation and economic cooperation.
