Being 'Australian' doesnot mean thatwe should take on Aboriginal culture (the original Australians). Nor does it mean that we should take on the Anglo-Saxon culture,norany otherculture.

Instead, weshould focus onbeing goodcitizens and goodhumanbeings, first andforemost. Being Australianmeans that we develop in ourselves, a deep affinity forthis country, wedevelop a feeling in ourhearts that this is 'my country', mychosencountry.
