TOP DENTISTS SPECIAL ADVERTISING SECTION
Meet 264 Indianapolis-area dentists
who are worth a look. According to whom? The dentists themselves, who voted for their colleagues in an independent survey commissioned by Indianapolis Monthly and conducted by topDentists LLC. It posed one question to hundreds of dental professionals: “If you had a patient in need of a dentist, which dentist would you refer them to?” Whether you just need a check-up or something more specialized, here’s where to start the search for your next dental professional. METHODOLOGY: This survey was conducted by topDentists LLC, which sought input from dentists across the U.S. The nomination pool consists of dentists who are current members of the American Dental Association or local dental societies, thus allowing virtually every dentist the opportunity to participate. Dentists were selected based on a vote of their peers, who were asked to consider five factors: experience, continuing education, manner with patients, use of new techniques and technologies, and physical results. Survey respondents were asked to evaluate only dentists whose work they were familiar with. After the vote compilation, dentists with the highest average scores were checked for any record of misconduct against state dental boards. No payment was accepted by topDentists in exchange for their selection.
