The word “INDOGMA” has been picked up from “DOGME 95 MANIFESTO” initiated by the Danish director Lars Von Trier and Thomas Vinterberg.

Since the festival is taking place in India hence the word and nomenclature has been made as “INDOGMA”. Certain rules to create films were also initiated :

1. The traditional value of Story

2. Acting and Theme

3. Excluding the use of elaborate special eects or technology

The purpose of organizing “INDOGMA FILM FESTIVAL” in India is to give Expression of Freedom to those short film makers who are in the budding stage of their careers.

A number of people have the dedication and passion to produce short films but due to scarcity of funds and resources, they are unable to find any platform to display their talent. In order to provide opportunity to such budding talent “INDOGMA” is being organized at Faridabad (Haryana) in close proximity to NCR. Our aim is to activate the development of film in dierent states of India including Haryana.

Lars von Trier (30 April 1956) is a Danish film director and screenwriter with a prolific and controversial career spanning more than four decades. His work is known for his trilogies (consists “Europa”, "The Kingdom" “Golden Heart”, “America”, and “Depression”) as well as its genre and technical innovation, confrontational examination of existential, social, and political issues, and his treatment of subjects such as mercy, sacrifice, and mental health.

Among his more than 100 awards and 200 nominations[15] at film festivals worldwide, von Trier has received: the Palme d'Or (for Dancer in the Dark), the Grand Prix (for Breaking the Waves), the Prix du Jury (for Europa), and the Technical Grand Prize (for The Element of Crime and Europa) at the Cannes Film Festival.

Von Trier is the founder and shareholder of the Danish film production company Zentropa Films, which has sold more than 350 million tickets and garnered seven Academy Awardnominations.

C is an Indian Actor/Director/Producer. He was born in Lakhanpur village of Munger district of Bihar. He took his early education from his grandfather Late Shri Jagdish Guruji. His father Late Shri Jawahar Mandal was a folk song singer and playwright who wrote about 13 plays and more than 200 folk songs.

Chandan Mehta was very much influenced by his father, who considers him the first Guru. Chandan Mehta was fond of literature since childhood, and he was greatly influenced by the novels, stories, and poems written by Munshi Premchand, Mahadevi Verma, and Maithil Kokil Mahakavi Vidyapati. Due to his interest in film and drama, he started working with the Indian Peoples Theatre Association (IPTA)in 1992.

During this, he went to dierent corners of India and participated in the theatrical competition. It is said that during this time he met the big stars of the film world, Anjan Srivastava, Raj Babbar, and Shabana Azmi. Chandan Mehta came to Delhi and entered the advertising industry and during this time he taught professional cinematography. Joined many workshops run by FTII for direction and filmmaking. In the context of filmmaking, they believe that choosing the right team is very important for good filmmaking and always being in touch with seniors aects its quality. So far, he has played the role of an artist, director, and producer for many films.

Mr. Mehta, influenced by the Dogme 95 Manifesto of Danish directors Lars von Trier and Thomas Vinterberg, started the Indogma film festival in India in 2018. Being a film festival director, he has deep connections with big directors, writers, singers, actors, and critics of the country and abroad. The purpose of his life is to cooperate with the people associated with the field of art and through the film, to reach the issues related to the art, culture, and society of India to the audience.

MESSAGE FROM THE DIRECTOR GENERAL

-Dr. Mukesh Gambhir

r. Mukesh Gambhir was born on 8th Sept 1950 in the city of Gurugram, Haryana. He is the elder son of Late Shri C.L. Gambhir.

DDr. Mukesh Gambhir retired as Excise and Taxation Commissioner (Jt.E.T.C.) from Faridabad, Haryana. He has completed his bachelor's degree from Government College, Gurugram. After that, he did M.A, L.L.B., and P.hd... Served as Deputy Excise and Taxation Commissioner (D.E.T.C) at Faridabad, Sonipat, Panipat, and Ambala. Dr. Gambhir says, I have faced lots of diculties with an in-service period but I never lay down on ethics. Finally in 2008 retired as Joint Excise and Taxation Commissioner (Jt.E.T.C.) from Faridabad.

Now, He have to prove his creative ability joined Marav Rachna Radio as Director by the request of Dr. O.P Bhalla (Founder Visionary, Manav Rachna) . He built a radio station in his own style. Mukesh Gambhir's poetic style and impeccable presentation resonated all around. Manav Rachna Radio gave new literary identity to Mukesh Gambhir.

By the way As a writer and poet, he had four books Katra – Katra - Ehsaas, Guncha - E - Ehsaas, Parvaz - E – Ehsaas, Khushboo – E – Ehsaas & Goonjte - Ehsaas published. There his book found a voice. Now the process of setting up radio stations in dierent places of Haryana started. Soon Mr. Gambhir laid the foundations of Radio NGF Palwal and Radio Maharani.

In the year 2018, he met film director Chandan Mehta. And introduced the indogma film festival. They also worked together in the short film "Just Take It Easy", "Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Nahi Hain" and the web series "Jholachap". Shri Gambhir has been awarded the “Shahir Ludhyanvi Award” by Former Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Singh Hooda. and “Haryana Sahity Academy” “Johar Adib” “Harivansh Rai BachhanAward” “Punjabi Ratan Award” “Shikhar Samman Samaroh Award” “Kayakalp Sahitya Bhushan Award2018” too many awards is in his credit.

Now these days at Gurugram Dr. Mukesh Gambhir working his own internet radio RADIO BOOZE “Ismen bhi nasha hai”
