The Indian Masters Polo Championship

India Sotheby's International Realty hosted The Indian Masters Polo Championship (14-goal) tournament final at the Jaipur Polo Grounds on Sunday, 13th November 2022. Indian Masters Polo Championship is considered as one of the best Polo championships in India. The tournament was a delight to watch for all the spectators. The championship started on November 7, 2022, total four teams and the final match was attended by approximately 500 guests with Lt. General Rajinder Dewan- AVSM,VSM, QMG, PRESIDENT APRC & Mrs. Isha Dewan as the chief guest and more than 200 vvips such as, General Dalbir Singh Suhag - PVSM, UYSM, AVSM, VSM, ADC, former Chief of Army Staff of the Indian Army, renowned artist Paresh Maity, Anupama Varma – Supermodel & Actor, Honorary consulate general of Moldova, Honorary consul general of Montenegro, High commissioners of Bulgaria, Ecuador, Chile and Estonia with their spouses also enjoyed the game with other invitees.

The officiating referees are also on horseback to keep pace with the players.

lThe name Polo is supposed to have originated from the Tibetan 'pholo' meaning 'ball' or 'ballgame'.

lHorse styling matters in this game. Manes and tails are traditionally cut short and/or plaited to minimize tangles.

lPolo ponies are not actually ponies, but rather a specific horse bred for polo, usually a cross between a quarter horse and a thoroughbred.
