Are you looking for something fun to do on a Friday night with your Y friends? Kids Night Out is your answer! Kids, ages 4-12, are invited to come to the Y for night of fun. Activities include a movie, games, and crafts. Space is limited. Pre-registration is required 48 hours in advance.

SPRING YOUTH SPORTS LEAGUES

Summer Sports Camps

Baseball/Softball

In addition to summer day camp, the YMCA offers a wide variety of sports and specialty camps each summer. Each Y is unique and diverse, just like your child, so programs will vary by location.

APRIL 15-JUNE 22 Mustang Baseball Ages: 9-10 years old

Practices/ Games: The Mustang Division will participate in the Tri County League. This league consists of Coal City, Gardner, Seneca, Braidwood, Dwight, and MVK. Practices will begin the week of April 15. Games will be played on Mondays and Thursdays beginning in May. Teams will play two games per week.

Games could be home or away (Seneca, Coal City, etc.). Home field location in Morris is still to be determined. All players must register by February 29. Players must not be older than 10 years of age and cannot turn 11 before August 31.

At the Y, we provide safe, affordable, and fun camps for youth and teens in grades K-8. YMCA Summer Camps offer kids a chance to have fun while building a healthy spirit, mind, and body. Kids have the opportunity to explore nature, find new talents, try new activities, gain independence, and make lasting friendships.

Preschool Summer Camp Preschool camp at the Morris Community YMCA will be held for seven weeks this summer at a location TBD. This super fun camp will feature weekly themes and walking field trips every Thursday. All participants must be potty trained.

Facility Members $115 Community Members $130 Registration fees will increase by $25 after March 13, 2024. Uniforms will not be guaranteed by the first game for those players who register after March 13.

Practices/ Games: Practices will be held one day per week beginning the week of May 20. Games will be played on Saturdays, location TBD, beginning May 25. Teams will play seven games. No practices will be held the week of May 27 nor the day of July 4. No games will be held on Saturday, July 6. Players will be provided a hat and jersey. Participants who register after March 13 will pay a $25 late fee and will not guaranteed a uniform by the first game.

SWIMMING FURTHER FASTER JETS SPRING SWIM CLINIC

This is great opportunity to learn more about the JETS and to meet our team and coaching staff.

Throughout the week, coaches will be evaluating swimmers for team placement.

A YMCA membership is not required to participate in the clinic. Spots for the team are limited. Clinic registration at a site does not guarantee practice site for the upcoming season.

Kid Zone

Before and After School Youth Enrichment Program In the YMCA’s Before and After School program, kids participate in physical, learning, and imaginative activities that encourage them to explore who they are and what they can achieve. Kids have fun, make new friends, and create memories that last a lifetime.

Registration for the 2024-2025 school year begins on April 20 for Facility Members and on April 27 for Community Members.

The Morris Community YMCA’s Before and After School Program serves children at Morris Grade School and Saratoga Elementary School.

The YMCA’s Kid Zone program is designed to meet the needs of local families. When enrolling in the Y’s before and after school program, families can choose from the following enrollment plans.
