Make a wooden T on which two A-B supports (e.g. 3−inch nails) will be installed at the ends of the horizontal piece, located at a distance of 40" (101.6 cm).
Force
Mark a point C midway between A-B, offset 1/2" (1.27 cm) downwards. Approximate the T to the wire in such a way that the strand rests on points A and B (nails). Incorporate an ordinary dynamometer (e.g. 50 kg) in the center and pull it until the wire touches point C. Record the dynamometer load and multiply it by a factor of 20, which will result in wire tension.

Wire Classification:
According to composition and properties: Low Carbon Wire (0.02 - 0.2% C): Ranging from very low carbon wire, for example, wire for champagne corks, to heavily drawn low carbon wire, for example, wire for mesh (welded mesh), staple wire, DRAMIX®. High Carbon Wire: Ranging from non-alloyed carbon steel with 0.3 to 0.9% C, for example, wire for springs and needles, to alloyed steels with additions of chrome, silicon, vanadium, manganese according to desired properties. 2. How to Coat Wires: 2.1. Metal Coatings: • • • •
Thermal coating: Dip the wire in molten zinc or tin. Heavy coatings are applied, for example, 300 g/m2 of zinc. Electrolytic coating:
Thin coatings are deposited electrolytically. This method is used for zinc, tin, copper, bronze, brass, etc. For example, 30 g/m2 of zinc.
Chemical coating: Immerse the wire in a solution of copper sulfate in diluted acid to obtain a copper layer.
2.2. Non-Metallic Coatings (on bare wire or previously galvanized wire): • • •
Enameling: Immersing the wire in a paint bath and baking it in an oven. Nylon Dipping: Preheated wire passes through a melting bath. A die is used for sizing. Extrusion of Nylon or PVC: Plastic or nylon pellets are melted and pressed through the calibrated opening of the extrusion head by pressure. The preheated wire also passes through

Regulation of Maximum Manual Load Weight:
If manual handling is unavoidable and mechanical aids cannot be used, it is not allowed to operate with loads exceeding 25 kilograms. Individuals under 18 years of age and women are not permitted to manually lift, transport, carry, drag, or push loads exceeding 20 kilograms without mechanical assistance
