5 Steps to Apply to MFU
• Applicants for master’s programmes must have graduated from a curriculum that is accredited by the Ministry of Education or the university council. Furthermore, the qualifications of applicants must meet the requirements set by each programme.
• Applicants for each master’s programmes must have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• The English proficiency requirement depends on the programme applicants are applying for.
• Applicants must have graduated from a curriculum that is accredited by the Ministry of Education or the university council. Furthermore, the qualifications of applicants must meet the requirements set by each programme.
• Applicants for doctoral programmes must have a master’s degree or equivalent.
• Applicants for doctoral programmes must have a bachelor’s degree with honours or equivalent.
• Applicants for doctoral programmes must submit their English proficiency test results according to the following criteria:
The test results must not be older than 2 years from the date of the exam. In the case that any curriculum has set higher scores, the criteria by the programme admission shall be used.
• In case that applicants do not have English proficiency test results or have the results lower than the criteria, they will be accepted to study in the programme under certain conditions.
• They have to submit English proficiency test results mentioned in the table above within the first semester of their study or they have to enroll and pass the ”Academic English for graduate Studies 1” course; otherwise it will be considered that they have not passed the admission process and their student status will be revoked.
• Applicants are allowed to submit the result of the ”Academic English for Graduate Studies 1” course (S grade) that is no older than two years since an announcement of the grade result.
• The university will not refund the application fee and the tuition fee regardless of any circumstances.
• Once the applicants have submitted the application form, it means that they have already studied and verified their qualifications. If it is found later that the applicants are disqualified, they will not be eligible for the admission examination.
• MFU-TEP will be held 3-5 times a year of which the exact dates will be announced by School of Liberal Arts, MFU.
• MFU-TEP consists of 4 parts including: Listening; Spoken expression; Grammar and Written Expression; and Reading.
• Payment of 1,000 THB should be made either by:
- Cash at Finance and Accounting Division, MFU
- Bank transfer to the University’s bank account 672-0-10817-1

• The students who are eligible to graduate must have an English proficiency level that corresponds to the set requirement for graduate students as listed in the MFU announcement entitled “English Proficiency Test Requirements for Graduate Students at Mae Fah Luang University.” This requirement is also set in accordance with Mae Fah Luang University’s Regulations on Graduate Studies.

Remarks:
• Applications for each programme are reviewed every one month until the seats are filled. This means that available seats for certain programme may be filled prior to the application deadline. If the application deadline of the last round has passed, all programmes will be closed for applications, even if some seats may still be available.
• Submission of an application does not guarantee acceptance.
• Applicants can select one programme when applying to MFU.

Remark: Damage Insurance Fee is a damage deposit. Upon graduation, this deposit will be refunded to the student if there is no outstanding balance on the student’s University account due to damages or any other charge.

: Complete new student information
• Complete all personal information and upload all necessary documents to the new student registration system
• Pay tuition fees and all expenses in Thai Baht (THB) currency
• Applicants will receive an official acceptance letter with the necessary visa request documents and acceptance package via email/post.
