1. GETTING TO KNOW YOU A listening and idea session to establish the scope and budget for the project, and your priority of design.

Your space needs, design preferences, and personal details are identified.

Conceptual Design Agreement: An agreement with Deffenbaugh Homes and 4D Design and Consulting for creation of a preliminary or schematic plan, and client selection services with a fee ranging from $1,000-$5,000 (depending on the scope of work).

2. CONCEPTUAL DESIGN Ideas are transformed into a preliminary schematic model by 4D Design and Consulting. Your estimated budget is revised to reflect the accepted plan and a list of allowances created for the selection process that follows.

Budget Range: A project outline with a scope of work and budget is generated from the data collected.

3. DESIGN DEVELOPMENT Selections and specifications are finalized to complete the bid process. A full set of permit ready construction plans are made that maximize design, innovation, and value engineering to meet your budget.

Comprehensive Contr act: The final fixed price contract that describes the complete scope of the project including client selections as in the approved plans and specifications list. It also includes a schedule of values to which invoices are billed to and a change order process to keep track of all additions and subtractions.

4. THE BUILD The Deffenbaugh Homes team transforms your plan into a reality. Your plans are built to code and all specifications approved.

5. W ELCOME TO THE FAMILY The project is completed, on time, and on budget. Another 5-Star Experience complete.

On-Call Ser vices: Asset protection, maintenance, and support of your home as you are now part of the Deffenbaugh family.
