Summer Days

WITH THE DIACONAL TEAM

Summer days with the diaconal team

Lazy, carefree summer days are wonderful but please rest assured that Immanuelskyrkan takes no break in serving as a community. Every Wednesday throughout the holiday season we offer the possibility to meet up and stay connected with the people we know and maybe some new ones. Below you’ll find this summer's activities – we hope there’s something for everyone. Unless otherwise stated, the events will be held in Swedish. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to contact us.

A warm welcome!

From the diaconal team at Immanuel Church

Address: Löjtnantsgatan 8. Contact: Deacon Margret Josefsson, tel 08-58750324.

AUGUST 13 A short Pilgrim Walk

Historically, pilgrimages were a journey toward something sacred. Today’s pilgrim walk invites us to draw closer to ourselves and the path God has laid out for our lives. One segment of the walk will be in silence.

Note the time: 09:30–14:00 approx. We’ll walk forest paths in Lill-Jansskogen at a gentle pace, suited to the group. Wear sturdy shoes or boots. Walking sticks can be used on the walk. Dress for the weather. Bring a backpack with drinking water and lunch. Meeting point and ending location: the gate at Löjtnantsgatan 8. In case of heavy rain, the pilgrim walk will be canceled. No pre-registration needed.
