Cinderella Transforms Immanuel's Stage by Hannah Brown, photos contributed by Kirk Kawagoe
The biggest production to hit the Immanuel stage is here and it’s wearing glass slippers. The performing arts department has been hard at work the past few months preparing for their run of Rodger and Hammerstein’s "Cinderella." Director Josh Merritt led a successful production of the show which closed Feb. 19. This was the first time Cinderella had been performed on the Immanuel stage. The show included mesmerizing costume transformations, exciting choreography, and stunning set pieces. Many cast and crew members worked late nights in order to get the show up and running in time for opening night.
