ISOLineTM P PRA/802000
This cylinder’s shaped profile barrel provides a clean appearance and enables direct assembly for flushmounted switches. Comes with Adaptive Cushioning System.
Smoothline PRA/822000
The anodised barrel and end covers, and option of single rear air connection, give this cylinder its smooth profile. Switches can be directly flushmounted to maintain its appearance.
Our full range of ISO standard cylinders offers a cylinder for any application in the abattoir industry be it for the pneumatic door or gate controls for the cattle runs, knocking pen, hyper tensioning the meat, transfer chains or sorting applications.
ISOLineTM R RA/802000
This cylinder is of robust tie-rod construction, ideal for industrial applications. Available in all bore sizes with a wide choice of variants, options, and mountings, it can be adapted to solve the most difficult actuation challenges. Comes with Adaptive Cushioning System.
IVAC Industrial PRA/862000
IVAC (Integrated Valve Actuator Control) incorporates proven valve and flow regulation technologies to reduce energy consumption, weight and installation space. Anodised end covers give additional environmental Protection, and ATEX/IECEx versions are available for hazardous environments.
Cleanline PRA/842000
This cylinder is hygienically designed according to EN1672-2 with an IP67 protection class for washdown in packaging and food applications.
IVAC Cleanline PRA/882000
The pilot valve module maintains the IP67 protection class of the cleanline variant. Customer installation is greatly simplified, with a single M12 connector for the pilot valves and switches, and single air and exhaust ports.
Stainless Steel KA/8000
The most rugged and reliable cylinder for applications in harsh environments and where contact with food requires heavy washdown. It is constructed from AISI303, 304 and 316 and complemented with a range of mountings.

Use of the IVAC cylinders means only one air line is required as a main supply line with a junction at each IVAC unit thus removing many metres of existing air lines and reduced installation time. Further advantage’s are a saving in air consumption as the control valve is located directly at the point of use within the IVAC and a decrease in cylinder reaction time. Ideal for sorting applications.
Optional sacrificial nose seal on standard cylinders to protect the primary seal resulting in a longer life of the cylinder.
Use of Pneumatic cylinder to hyper tension meat thereby increasing the quantity of tender high value cuts. The modified cylinder has been designed to eliminate bug traps and coupled with customised hooks to carry out the tensioning operation.
Valves (Blood Processing, Hand Wash Basin, Cleaning and Sterilisation)
A kit is available to replace the common knee wand that you see in most abattoirs. These units consist of a ½” stainless steel IMI Buschjost pilot valve with a Super X valve and fittings and silencers. This design is much better suited to avoid wastage of water as it is tamper proof.
We also have available valves used in the cleaning and sterilization unit and vertical water scalding process for cleaning equipment like hooks and tongs.

Safety and risk assessment
A machine should be constructed to guarantee safety as much as possible. Any potential danger must have its risk reduced/ minimized by protections or measures e.g. a pneumatic safety control system. For unavoidable residual risk, the corresponding necessary documentation must be provided. A comprehensive and standardized risk assessment will take place at the beginning of the process for the evaluation of the machinery safety.
Identification of safety function
If in the risk analyses hazardous movements were detected then, in accordance with the danger, counteracting safety functions must be defined and provided. Only after more precise definition of the actual safety function can the corresponding subsystems of the safety control system be adequately executed and interpreted.
