IHW: What was your dream as a child to achieve in your life?
R: When I graduated I wanted to go into Law or medicine and become a surgeon, I graduated with a 4.0 GPA and was top 5% of my graduating class and In the Who’s who of American high school students grades 11 and 12who would have ever known!
IHW: Where are now with your're dreams?
R: I’m trying to keep putting one foot in front of the other - I’m trying to navigate a life with out our beloved Houston, I don’t know what that looks like, or how I’m going to do it, but I have other children that need me and that I must keep living for - I have been nearly comatose and numb for 6 months since we lost him, The pain has been absolutely severe! I feel when Houston died I died with him, I don’t aspire for stardom I do not aspire to be on any new reality TV show, all I ever aspired for, my dream was to live a life with my husband and children, to love one another, keep my children close, travel and explore the world, keeping everyone happy and healthy. I spent a huge amount of time with Houston and managing his acting career, since he’s been gone there is such a big hole and void in all of our lives. My children are my very best friends! I'm not looking to have some major career, I'm just looking for a peaceful happy life, I’m quite a simple person at the end of the day.
IHW: What do you want to be known for?
R: First and foremost, whenever anyone tells me what a good mother I am, it is the biggest complement I could receive, I was 20 years old when I gave birth to my oldest son Jhordan. I’ve known nothing else than being a mother, and I’ve loved absolutely nothing more! Losing Houston has been paramount! Life shattering and has left me absolutely destroyed, my mission now is to go out into the world save lives and make a difference - and I know Houston will be with me every step of the way.
IHW:Canyoutellusaboutyourfirststeps instarting your career?
R: I’ve been a mother first and foremost and I think it’s the most integral career a woman will ever have. As for our business The Hillcore Group, unbeknownst to some who think all “housewives” have married into for money, my husband rented a house had an older Denali and was struggling financially when I met him. I married him because I fell in love - we built everything together from ground zero, 24 years later I’d say we have done A-ok!
