At Kingsmore Meats we specialise in grass-fed and free-range meat, excellently butchered and presented.

We pride ourselves on knowing the provenance of our meat – where it comes from, and how it’s produced, processed and delivered to us.

We source most of our meat from independent local farmers who raise their animals humanely and sustainably.

Part of our process is to meet our producers to see their operations and ensure that we only partner with the best Australian farmers and producers.

Beef Our signature beef suppliers are Emerald Hill for Angus beef, Gundooee Organics for our organic waygu and Isola Chianina for our Italian Chianina

Poultry Our feature free-range organic chicken supplier is Hillside Pastured Farm who believe in raising chickens the old fashion way.

Lamb Our signature seasonal lamb is pure-bred Omeo White Suffolk, which we get directly from the farmers, Peter and Louise Pether, of Omeo near Mudgee

Pork Our feature pork (and our bacon and ham) comes from free-range heritage-breed black Berkshire pigs raised by the Williams family from Tallabung Pork.

We choose our producers carefully. This means we only stock free-range, pasture-raised animals which are hormone, antibiotic and cruelty-free.

We only look for the highest possible standards from our farmers which means we stand by our beef, veal, lamb, pork, poultry and game – If it’s not raised right, it can’t be delicious.

Get to know your butcher Joel Houghton is the Artisan behind Kingsmore Meats. His passion revealed itself at the young age of 14 in an effort to pursue something more hands on.

From humble beginnings, Joel has stayed true to his roots, creating a meat mantra that strikes a chord with anyone searching for local, free range, ethically-produced, sustainable, nose-to-tail premium meats.

Joel prides himself on his longstanding relationships with the farmers who produce the Kingsmore daily catch. As part of the Kingsmore philosophy, Joel regularly heads out of town to visit his producers and see rst hand the animals that will eventually end up in his stores.
