“The magic in every student comes to life as never before when they are empowered to be as creative as they were all born to be! Black Rocket has twenty years of experience designing courses in the S.T.E.A.M fields. Every program is powered by the child’s innate imagination and designed to bring their ideas to life in a fun, hands-on learning environment. All Black
Rocket programs mirror real-life experiences and the collaborative nature of the design process. Students will work in pairs or teams for in-room programs in a COVID safe way. Online classes provide a more independent experience, but with an emphasis on peer to peer feedback to enhance the creative process.”

Little Medical School is about engaging students in an inspirational journey which not only allows them to “look” like a healthcare professional, but to use real tools like real doctors,
nurses, pharmacists, and veterinarians use. And they perform unique activities that are carefully designed by our educational staff that mimic what real healthcare professionals do.
In addition to inspiring children to see themselves in healthcare careers, we teach them real
life skills. Students learn what to do if there is a medical emergency, how to use a first aid kit, and how to prevent hypothermia. We also stress the importance of health care professionals being role models. That means taking care of yourself… eating right, exercising, getting immunizations, and not smoking.

Dave Thomen became interested in magic when he was 9 after watching legendary performer Harry Blackstone Jr. The Great Blackstone made a light bulb float onto the stage, made an
elephant magically appear – and made a lasting impression on his young audience members. “I’ll never forget that,” Thomen said. “It was one of the most magical nights of my life.”
Thomen started a magic club at his Middle School and learned his great skill at improvisation in those early days. During an outside performance as a teenager, a dove he used as part of his
show flew into a tree. The audience thought it was part of the act. Thomen, adapting on the fly, said the dove was fired. The crowd laughed. “I never did get the dove back,” Thomen said.
Dave Thomen of D’s Magic has been performing professionally since 1994. He truly provides Entertainment for Everyone, performing regularly for employees and celebrities from the

This week we will explore a prime summer vacation location - the ocean! We will discover different creatures that live in salty waters, such as fish, Turtles , Dolphins, Salt Water crocodiles and whales including sperm, blue, and killer. We will learn why these animals live in salt water vs fresh water, take a virtual aquarium tour, and also discuss how we can help preserve the ocean for these animals for the future!
