In the Main Gallery, there is the El Estudio Exhibit.

In here, there are hands-on exhibits that I can explore with my senses.

I will buy my ticket at the Visitor Services desk. A person sitting there will check me in.
If I need a sensory bag, I can check it out at the Visitor Services desk.

I can also visit the Museum Galleries in the back building.
This is where I am going to look at different types of art. I cannot touch any of the artworks.

There is an educator in the galleries who can help answer any questions about the art.
I can also head outside to the Sculpture Garden area to get some fresh air! In the Sculpture Garden, I can walk on the rocky trail and look at the sculptures.

The picnic area is another place where I can take a break outside. Here I can sit and have a snack. I will clean up after myself when I am done.

In the museum I am going to use my inside voice.
In the museum I am going to walk to different exhibits.
I am going to keep my hands and feet to myself.
I am going to stay with my guardian at all times.
My sensory bag has a clipboard that I can use to create a schedule of the areas I want to visit.
If I do not have a sensory bag, that is okay!
I can follow along with this guide to show me around the museum.
There are many things I can do at the museum.
Another exhibit exploration area is Seed to Table. Here I can play in a pretend garden, kitchen, and grocery store.

The Discovery Pavilion is another place to visit. There are many areas I can explore in this room!

I can stop by the Science On a Sphere® (SOS). In here I can sit and watch videos!

The IMAS Rocks and Minerals Collection is in the hallway.
The McAllen Public Utility BioZone Lab is nearby.

Here I will see animals in their homes. I should not tap on the glass. But there are many things I can explore with my hands.
One animal I might see is Ryujin, a Bearded Dragon!
There is an educator in the room who can help answer any questions about the animals.
The Ann Moore Art Studio is a place where I can color and draw.

If you have any questions, ask an IMAS Educator.
