Comodidades: El Coral Gables Museum cuenta con baños dentro de sus instalaciones y GROU Coffee ofrecerá una variada selección de bebidas y snacks para toda la familia en el Courtyard. GROU donará 10% de las ventas realizadas durante el evento a IMAGO POR LAS ARTES. Estacionamiento: Amplio estacionamiento público disponible en las calles cercanas al museo. También puedes utilizar el estacionamiento público al frente del museo (220 Aragon Ave, Coral Gables, FL 33134), junto a Coral Gables Cinema.

Transporte público: Puedes llegar al museo utilizando el Trolley de Coral Gables, taxi, Freebee en Coral Gables ó el Metrorail hasta la estación DOUGLAS ROAD & S DIXIE HWY. Seguridad: El Coral Gables Museum es un lugar seguro para disfrutar de este evento, pero en caso de emergencia, hay hospitales, bomberos y policía cercanos en la ciudad de Coral Gables.

Amenities: The Coral Gables Museum has restrooms within its facilities, and GROU Coffee will offer a diverse selection of beverages and snacks for the whole family in the Courtyard. GROU will donate 10% of sales made during the event to IMAGO POR LAS ARTES. Parking: Ample metered public parking is available on the streets near the museum. You can also park in the public garage in front of the museum (220 Aragon Ave, Coral Gables, FL 33134), next to Coral Gables Cinema.

Public transportation: You can get to the museum using the Coral Gables Trolley, shared vehicles, Freebee Coral Gables, or the Metrorail to the DOUGLAS ROAD & S DIXIE HWY station.

Security: The Coral Gables Museum is a safe place to enjoy this event, but in case of an emergency, there are hospitals, fire and police stations nearby in the city of Coral Gables. ​ ENTRELIBROS rules: No solicitation by non-profit or commercial enterprises is allowed. Un mensaje de nuestra presidenta Queridos amigos, ¡Bienvenidos a ENTRELIBROS! Con enorme entusiasmo, queremos presentarles una iniciativa extraordinaria que tiene el poder de inspirar, educar y encender la pasión por la literatura y la cultura entre nuestros niños y jóvenes.

ENTRELIBROS, el primer Festival de Libros ilustrados en Español para niños y jóvenes en Miami, es un proyecto dinámico e integral organizado por IMAGO POR LAS ARTES en alianza con el prestigioso Museo de Coral Gables. Ambas organizaciones son impulsadas por un profundo compromiso con la promoción del arte y el entendimiento cultural en los corazones de los niños y las familias. Creemos que la magia de contar historias y la belleza del arte y la literatura pueden moldear las mentes jóvenes y conectar comunidades. ¡Nuestro festival es más que un evento; es una celebración de la cultura, el idioma y la literatura hispana!

A través de una valiosa alianza con el Museo de Coral Gables y con el apoyo incondicional de organizaciones como la Feria del Libro de Miami, Fundación Cuatrogatos, Acción Cultural Española, Cinco Books y otras, ENTRELIBROS logra reunir a doce editoriales independientes provenientes de España, América Latina y Estados Unidos. Estas editoriales, cada una con voces e historias únicas, presentarán sus mejores creaciones literarias en español.

Del 13 al 15 de octubre de 2023, ENTRELIBROS cobrará vida en el Museo de Coral Gables con talleres que despiertan la curiosidad, charlas que amplían horizontes, presentaciones que cautivan, firmas de libros que crean conexiones y lectura de cuentos que nos transportan a mundos mágicos. Todas estas actividades y más se desarrollarán durante tres emocionantes días. Nuestro objetivo es crear una experiencia integral que una a familias, educadores y amantes de los libros en el placer de leer en español.

ENTRELIBROS no es sólo un evento; es también un testimonio de nuestra herencia compartida y del poder que posee la literatura para unirnos. Este festival es una celebración con entrada gratuita y una oportunidad para que todos se sientan orgullosos de nuestra identidad cultural. A message from our president Dear Friends, Welcome to ENTRELIBROS! We are thrilled to introduce to you an extraordinary initiative that holds the power to inspire, educate, and ignite a passion for literature and culture among our children and youth.

ENTRELIBROS, the first Spanish Children’s and Youth Book Festival in Miami, is a dynamic and immersive project orchestrated by IMAGO POR LAS ARTES in partnership with the CORAL GABLES MUSEUM. Both organizations share a strong commitment to promoting art and cultural understanding among children and families. We believe that storytelling, art, and language can shape young minds and unite communities.

Our festival is not just an event; it’s a celebration of Hispanic culture, language, and literature. Through a valuable partnership with the CORAL GABLES MUSEUM and with the unwavering support of organizations like the Miami Book Fair, Cuatrogatos Foundation, Acción Cultural Española, Hand2Hand, and others, ENTRELIBROS brings together twelve independent publishers from Spain, Latin America, and the USA. These publishers, each with unique voices and stories, will present their finest literary creations in Spanish.

From October 13 to October 15, 2023, ENTRELIBROS will come to life at the Coral Gables Museum with workshops that spark curiosity, talks that broaden horizons, presentations that captivate, book signings that forge connections, and storytime sessions that transport us to new worlds – all these activities and more will unfold over three exhilarating days. Our goal is to provide a comprehensive experience that brings together families, educators, and book lovers in the pleasure of reading in Spanish.

ENTRELIBROS is more than just an event; it is a celebration of our shared heritage and the ability of literature to unite us.

The enchanting melodies from “El Chamario”; will be brought to life and shared with children and their families through interactive music, inspiring excitement and interest in books and reading.

The book is a stunning collection of poems where words and illustrations interact, creating playful shapes and meanings. As noted by Eugenio Montejo in the book’s foreword, it’s genuinely a “verbal toy”.

Cuentos Bailables Editorial/publisher: Ekaré Éste será el cierre de fiesta del festival con dinámicas musicales para toda la familia. Se escucharán algunos de los cuentos bailables mientras juegan, cantan y bailan con estos ritmos y canciones caribeñas. Cerraremos el festival celebrando la cultura hispana y la buena literatura infantil.

Este es un libro ilustrado con canciones en homenaje a la música popular caribeña. También es una historia que se desarrolla a través de ocho cancionescuentos, evocando una época de salones de baile y fiestas callejeras, noches urbanas y celebraciones en la playa. El libro está lleno de energía y celebra la vida y la música, puede ser disfrutado tanto por adultos como por niños.

The festival’s closing celebration will feature a musical activity suitable for the whole family.

Attendees can play, sing, and dance to Caribbean rhythms and songs while hearing some of the danceable tales. The festival will conclude with a celebration of Hispanic culture and good children’s literature.

This book is an illustrated work that pays tribute to Caribbean popular music through songs. It tells the story of eight-song tales that evoke an era of dance halls, street parties, urban nights, and beach celebrations. The book is full of energy, celebrating life and music, and can be enjoyed by both adults and children.
