Making a difference Uamusho School is based in the city of Butembo in North-East DR Congo, an area badly affected by violence and conflict. The school has around 320 pupils in primary and secondary school, over 100 of whom are orphans and cannot afford to pay their school fees. Providing Education

Over the next 5 years we aim to: 1. Support every child in the school to receive an education 2. Support every teacher to receive a regular salary 3. Build new brick classrooms 4. Fully purchase the land the school currently rents 5. Build an internet cafe to generate revenue

Thanks to your ongoing support we have been able to provide the students at Uamusho School with new school uniforms (pictured above) and we have also been able to help pay the teachers a stable wage since September 2012. The next phase is to build new classrooms!
