Exciting New Developments… JUST DANCE & JUST CHEER Just Dance and Just Cheer are great opportunities for children between the ages of 3-14 to make friends, learn new skills and develop their creativity. The classes run every Monday from 4-7pm. The cost is £3.50 per session for Just Dance and £5 per session for Just Cheer. GENESIS HOUSING We have identified the need to provide supported accommodation for homeless people in Liverpool. We will be partnering with an investor who will purchase a house on our behalf, with the agreement that we provide care and support for the tenants. There is potential that this could grow to include a number of properties. This will be launching in Spring 2015. STICKY FINGERS NURSERY We are exploring the option of creating provision for pre-school children through a day nursery. This would involve developing the Frontline Centre upstairs hall into a suitable space for children between 2-4 years old. This would start in September 2015. There will be a number of paid positions available, if you have nursery experience and would like to know more e-mail james@imagineiftrust.org.
Christmas Meal... We will once again be providing our Christmas Day meal for those who are homeless, isolated or simply cannot afford to put a meal on the table this Christmas. We provide a 3 course meal, games, music and prizes for all our guests. The event will take place in the Frontline Centre from 11.30am to 5.30pm on Christmas Day.

Love Congo update... We currently support a school, a microfinance initiative and an NGO supporting displaced women and children in North-Eastern DRC. We are planning to bring our key contact Pastor Alexandre over to Liverpool in March 2015. More to follow on this in the New Year.

In October we were delighted to receive a donation of medical equipment from Liverpool Women’s hospital. This was taken to the DRC in November and will be used in a medical clinic in the border town of Kasindi which we are helping to develop. We were also able to send a solar panel kit which will be used to provide both lighting and phone charging facilities in the church in Butembo.

If you are a coffee lover we are selling our Love Congo Coffee from our charity shop on Picton Road and from the Frontline Centre reception. Our 227g bags of ground coffee are £4 each or 3 for £10. If you would like to order a larger quantity please e-mail lovecongo@imagineiftrust.org.
Streetwise in Kensington... Streetwise have been located on Sheil Road since the beginning of the year. In this time we have had 660 visits to the van with approximately 20 new faces. We are building up great relationships with the girls and they love coming into the van. The van is invaluable to both the streetwise volunteers and the working girls who now view the van as a place of safety. We have had a lot of positive feedback from not only the girls but the police and residents from the area as well. This December will be our first full christmas at this new site, we see this as a great opportunity to bless the girls and show them how much they are loved by giving them gifts. We are always looking for volunteers to come out with us on a Friday or Saturday night. If you would like to be part of this amazing project please e-mail streetwise@imagineiftrust.org.
