Stickies film morning well attended...
Romance Academy deliver ‘Priceless’...
On Saturday 25th May we held a film morning for families from Sticky Fingers. We had over 100 children come and enjoy our screening of Monsters Inc. It was such a success that we’ll be doing it again on Saturday 6th July. Keep an eye on the website for more details nearer the time.
Our Romance Academy is working with young people from Harmonize Academy in Anfield. ‘Priceless’ is a course designed for the girls which looks at self-esteem and identity and the boys have a similar course titled ‘Man-up’. Both courses are running over the next 6 weeks at Frontline Centre.
Parenting course proving a hit...
Love Congo trip in planning stages...
We have been running a parenting course through our Family Matters project for a number of weeks. The course has been attended by 11 individual parents, one of whom said: “It’s been great to realise I’m not alone in having a spirited child!”
We will once again be sending a team to the DR Congo this year to continue the links we have made with local churches and charities in Butembo. The 2 week trip is planned for October. If you would like to receive more updates about our work in the Congo please email lovecongo@imagineiftrust.org
