We’re off to DR Congo! Our team will once again be heading out to the Democratic Republic of Congo in October for 2 weeks to work alongside our partner agencies in Butembo. The 6-person team consists of Nic Harding, Lydia Palmer, James Sloan, Louise Brockbank, John Sloan and Colin Dickinson. The team will be looked after by our good friend Pastor Alexandre who leads CRS Church in Butembo. They will be working with the church and looking at practical outreach in the community, including medical clinics. The team will spend time with PSM - a local project working with rape victims - where Colin will provide some training in psychological rehabilitation for PSM counsellors. Our team will also visit Promicrofinance, Uamusho School, the Mayor’s office and a number of churches around the city!
