At Dignity Apparel, we’re seeing firsthand how powerful it is when people invest in one another. In Tennessee, where most of our knitters are nearing retirement, experienced workers are passing on their craft to the next generation—like Austin, a young dad who recently stepped into the Knitting Apprentice role after years as a Knitting Inspector. And on our sewing floor, we’re proud to have three generations of sewers working side by side to produce over a million shirts a year. From “Mamaws” to young moms, our lines are full of people ready to work hard, master their craft, and improve their lives and the lives of their families. Even more inspiring: new team members are joining every month, eager to be part of a positive workplace culture and eager to build something within their community.
We’re also celebrating the incredible evolution of screen-printing at Image Pointe. A few years ago, our print team was made up mostly of long-time, Midwestern team members, working first shift. We’d tried for years to build a second shift but for various reasons, it never took root. Not until we met Victoria. She first excelled in Finishing, then requested second shift. She quickly picked up screen-printing and quietly but confidently helped build a second-shift team—staffed by hardworking women from her South Asian immigrant community. Today, that shift is running smoothly, growing steadily, and proving what happens when people who are willing to learn and work hard are given a chance. At Image Pointe and Dignity Apparel, we welcome anyone who wants to raise their hand and say “Yes, I want to learn, Yes, I want to work hard, and Yes, I want to do my job excellently.” We believe this is the union tradition and something we humbly take pride in across our facilities.
Thanks to your early and ongoing support, Image Pointe & Dignity Apparel are now gaining interest from new corners of the USA: non-profits, musicians, political campaigns, and retail shops are reaching out because they believe in union-made, USA-made quality. In an industry characterized by smoke and mirrors, people are calling for something real—transparent supply chains, local production, and a chance to support American manufacturing. David, a Knitting Mechanic with 28 years under his belt, guides Austin, a Knitting Apprentice and former Inspector of 6 years, through the fine points of setup, tension, and flow. Together, they carry forward the proud tradition of American knitting, with skills shaped by union hands and dedicated to building garments that last. Every stitch is a reminder of solidarity, patience, and the unmatched craftsmanship of U.S. makers.

SCREEN-PRINTING GENERATIONS
OF THE CRAFT - PRINTED WITH PRIDE
The art of screen-printing is passed from one set of steady hands to the next. Rod, Print Lead with 40 years of experience, works alongside Victoria, sharing techniques honed over decades on the floor. Every pull of the squeegee and every alignment check is a chance to teach precision, rhythm, and pride in American-made quality. For years the Image Pointe screen-print department was staffed by long-time, Midwestern team members, until a position opened and Victoria raised her hand, ready to learn. Rod began her training, and she soon became the second shift Print Lead. This union tradition of mentorship and collaboration grew stronger as Victoria recruited team members from her South Asian community. At Image Pointe we are proud to carry on this legacy with all who are ready to learn, work hard, and keep union screen-printing strong.
