Property Tax Breakdown

2022 Tax Rates (Effective 2023 Bills)

I’ve said it before, but it’s important to me that we not only have a growing business base, excellent schools, strong nancial footing and a variety of housing options, but I also want residents to be able to nd ways to make memories with their families and neighbors right here in our own backyard without having to look outside our borders. Recreation is one of the more enjoyable components of community and public service. I wanted to serve residents by providing ample opportunities for them to enjoy their families and neighbors, and our community, together. So, I assembled an Events Committee that is comprised of the following members: Jackie Canter, General Manager of BlueLine Classics; Ward 2 Councilwoman Linda Barath; Ward 3 Councilwoman Joanne Krejci; the Fire Department’s Administrative Assistant Kathy Salvo and myself. This group has planned and will execute these events in 2024:

• Solar Eclipse Bash on April 8, in conjunction with the North Royalton School District

• George Modock Jr. Memorial Fishing Derby on June 7

• Two movie nights on June 14 and July 19

• Parkapalooza on June 22 and Sept. 21

• Touch-a-Truck/National Police Night Out on Aug. 6

• Community Car Show on Aug. 10

• Halloween Madness and Trick or Treat Street on Oct. 19

• The Annual Health and Family Expo/ Bear Run on Nov. 2, in conjunction with the Schools, UH and Southwest General

• Holiday Lighting Ceremony and Parade on Dec. 1.

All events are subject to change. To see a complete list of all major events in our community, sponsored by the City and other community groups, see www.northroyalton.org.

The Solar Eclipse Bash with the schools will be a unique event meant to celebrate this historic, astronomical occurrence as a community. We will have food trucks, entertainment and activities at the High School Stadium and are working on those details now!

Sponsorship opportunities are available for residents, businesses and organizations that would like to donate monetarily to the success of these events. We are thankful for groups like Zeppe’s Pizza and the North Royalton Lions Club, both of whom sponsored a 2023 movie night. We appreciate community partners for collaborating with us on behalf of our residents. All donors are publicly recognized on our social media, website and publicity material. More information and forms are available on the Event page of our website, www.northroyalton.org

There are similar sponsorship opportunities for the annual Community Festival Fireworks Display, sponsored by the City as part of Home Days. Our residents spoke, and we listened; our 2024 Community Festival Fireworks are moving to Saturday during the 138th Community Festival planned during a weekend in August, TBA by the Chamber of Commerce.

Regularly checking our City website, www.northroyalton.org, which features a community calendar is a great way to get the latest up-to-date events and happenings taking place in our community. Our facebook page, @cityofnorthroyaltonOH is updated daily with upcoming events listed at the top of the page in the events section.

As you can see, we have quite a bit planned, and we hope you will join us at these events. Community spirit and pride is something the City works to foster. It’s an important component of any community. We hope all our residents feel at home here in North Royalton.

Mayor Larry Antoskiewicz
