We live in an era in which our daily challenge has become finding enough inner peace and energy to focus on creative work, indispensable for successful completion of all the projects we decide to take on.

At Kampo, this energy flows in abundance, as 50 years have passed already since my father, Anton Kajzer, established the foundations of this craft and joinery workshop. With his work, he sets an example, as he still invests a generous amount of love into any exclusive piece of massive wood he works on. Half a century of uninterrupted development is, after

all, a product of his values, which he instilled into the company.

Three years ago, when I embarked on his path I thought it would be difficult to surpass his success since most of the areas covered by the workshop relied on his pioneering ideas. However, it is my utmost privilege to be able to write the following: his selfless support and our dedicated team of co-workers, the continuing introduction of new technologies, as well as daily endeavours to use innovative approaches in solving technological problems and in constructing seemingly impossible detailed elements have allowed me to upgrade my father’s work.

This would not have been possible without you, our cherished customers - to you we owe our gratitude for offering us numerous opportunities for our own development. I am convinced that our most demanding customers are also the most valuable, as they encourage us to give our best and to grow beyond the existing horizon of available knowledge.

They are the ones we can impress with our most complex products; and this fills me with great pride and gratitude. I am grateful to each and every one of them.

company would also not have been possible without our devoted team of co-workers who are always prepared to make sacrifices for a quality and timely completion of each project. A sincere expression of gratitude for successfully executed projects goes to them as well.

The Craftsman of the Year Award 2012, the highest recognition of the Chamber of Craft and Business of Slovenia, came to me quite unexpectedly. It was followed by self-questioning on whether I really deserved it. However, looking back and considering the invested effort, time and energy, I can safely say that the feelings of pride and gratitude prevail. I see the reward as a symbol of responsibility towards the society I live in, as I wish to work for the good of people and give back to my community.

A reward like this one serves as an energy boost that makes us move mountains and help create a better world. With this uplifting sensation in mind, which I gladly share with all my co-workers, customers, friends and acquaintances, I welcome the beginning of another 50 years atKampo.

Production programme

Wooden doors – inner as well as fireproof doors – remain the leading production programme at Kampo. Our vast spectrum of woodworking machines enables us to fabricate partitions, linings, stair treads and the completion of other special joinery works, which our customers require upon conclusion of construction.

Additionally, we fabricate furniture for hotels, business and public facilities, as well as furnishings for individual customers. Thanks to our state-of-the-art CNC machines, our products boast supreme quality, and they can be fabricated in a very short time.

We make wooden inner doors with a wooden jamb in two basic versions:

The selection of details of wooden inner doors with a wooden jamb is almost limitless, and at the company Kampo we will gladly lend an ear to any wish – no matter how extraordinary. We have come across many ideas that presented a serious technical challenge, but that were successfully carried out in the end. We always accommodate our customers by means of a wide selection of materials and colours. It is even more important that we make doors to size and precisely for the prepared constructed opening. We offer a complete service: in addition to making inner doors, we also install them in buildings. Fireproof doors Kampo EI30 are intended for installation at the fire sector borders. They are a result of years of development, to which we have dedicated ourselves at the company Kampo. We wanted to assure the making of wood fireproof doors out of serial dimensions, and a fireproof door with a side glaze for more demanding customers.

The door wing and jamb of fireproof doors KAMPO EI30 are wooden, but the final lining of the wing and of the jamb can be treated with different plywood, laminates or full colours, and can be harmonised with the rest of the equipment or other inner doors, which do not demand fireproofing.

Fireproof doors Kampo EI30S

The fireproof doors KAMPO EI30S are intended for installation at the boundaries of fire compartments. The fireproof door wing of the KAMPO EI30S doors is made of wood while the dry installed metal jamb is powder varnishedin colour according to the RAL Colour Scale.

There are two mounting options available, either with regular or hidden hinges. The final lining of the wooden wing can be treated with full colours or with various veneers.

These doors, as well as fireproof doors KAMPO EI30S, are a product of our own development. They are intended for installation within sports facilities, hospitals, schools and all other buildings, which are meant to accommodate large numbers of visitors.

Partitions for business premises are intended for dividing larger places into several smaller offices. Partitions are made of wooden load-bearing constructions, reinforced by metal bearers. Often, doors or built-in closets are integrated into these partitions. Partitions fillers are wooden with additional sound isolation, glass or acoustic elements.

Mobile segments of the partitions with increased sound isolation are intended for the separation of larger conference rooms and congress halls.

They are composed of several segments which can be folded against the wall or in a special niche in the wall, not requiring any profile in the floors. The walls have adequate sound isolation to enable the undisturbed use of facilities on both sides of the wall.

Sanitary partitions are made of waterproof plates and stainless frames, and are built in toilets for business premises, shopping centres, sport halls and tourist facilities.

Linings

We make wooden decorative linings for businesses and residential premises out of materials harmonised with the rest of the equipment in the facility.

They are wonderful decorations, and at the same time, provide protection for the walls.

with parallel grooves, behind which there is an absorptive material (the level of absorption is determined by the raster and width of grooves, defined for individual spaces together with an expert for acoustics).

with a bore in a specific raster where the diameter and distance between bores determine the level of absorption.

Acoustic linings with medium or maximum acoustic complexity for the needs of sport, concert and meeting halls, cinema halls, recording studios, lecture rooms, classrooms, and so on. We use diverse materials and colours for the final treatment of the linings in the same way as for doors or other equipment.

Façade linings can be made of massive wood of diverse tree species. They can be left untreated – raw - or are treated with coatings which protect wood from discolouration and decay.

Nowadays, more and more façades are coated with waterproof laminate coatings.

Business premises

At Kampo, we make indoor furniture for reception offices, secretary’s offices, meeting rooms, shops and business premises, saloons, etc. Today, business premises represent the place where we spend most of our days, and it is for this reason that their recognisability, functional and rational design and, what is most important, their ability to serve as a pleasant environment for the employees, are crucial.

All of the above is a priority for us at Kampo, as any design and fabrication of furnishings for business premises always starts with an open dialogue between the customer and the provider of service. Every company has its own way of executing work tasks and communicating, which is an important aspect we try to consider when providing fittings to business premises. The recognisability of each customer can already be excellently demonstrated through office furnishings, as it happens often that we include certain specific elements of their company products into their design.

When co-operating with our customers, we formulate an ideal concept for their business premises, a design sketch, 3D outlines, as well as a suggestion with regard to the choice of materials.

The production of furnishings is always performed within the shortest possible time, irrespective of which price range (basic, medium or high) the products belong to. Our furnishings are also accompanied by chairs, sofa sets, kitchenettes and wardrobe racks.

Offices STANDARD Programme This programme is intended for operational positions. All furnishings are made of highly resistant chipboard with a width of 18, 25 or 40 mm.

They boast a single-colour decorative finish or a decorative finish imitating wood, depending on the wishes and requirements of our customers.

The edges are fitted with 2 mm ABS edge bands while the structure or the base of work stations can either be made of metal or wood. The furniture is equipped with quality fittings and handles according to the customer’s choice.

Offices MODUL Programme This programme is intended for operational and leading positions. The furnishings are made of a combination of refined chipboard with a width of 18 mm and edges fitted with a 2 mm ABS edge band while the work stations are composed of 30 mm wide chipboard with a laminated finish.

Refined chipboard and laminate are available as a single-colour decor or as decor imitating wood. The edges of work station plates are ergonomically rounded. All the elements featuring uneven lines are made of MDF plates decorated with colours according to the RAL Colour Scale. The base of work stations can either be made of metal or wood. The furniture is equipped with quality fittings and handles according to the customer’s choice.

Offices EXECUTIVE Programme

This programme is intended for leading positions. All furnishings are made of chipboard plates of various widths, which are fitted with veneers according to the wishes of our customers.

The edges are lined with massive wood elements, which correspond with the selected veneer, while the veneered surfaced are treated with environmentally friendly water-based lacquers, except when our customer requests a high-gloss appearance. The veneered elements may be complemented with various leather, glass or stone components. The base of work stations can either be made of metal or wood. The furniture is equipped with quality fittings and handles according to the customer’s choice.

Chairs for business premises

operative In terms of time span during which they are being used, this family of chairs is among the most burdened ones. Ergonomics and functions enabling the user optimal adjustments of their chairs are therefore very important.

conference This type of office chairs is intended for a wider circle of users, as they can serve as chairs for accommodation of customers or for the furnishing of meeting rooms, waiting rooms and lecture halls.

Their visual and functional design is adjusted to their intended purpose.

Chairs intended for managerial positions are considered to be the best among office chairs. They are made for the most demanding customers while their design focuses greatly on ergonomics. Since they are perfected all the way down to the smallest details, their high placement in this group is more than justified.

We make furnishings for hotel rooms, apartments, reception premises, restaurants, bars and other common areas.

At Kampo, we use our knowledge and our state-of-the-art technology to make furnishings and equipment on various levels, depending on the category of the hotel/tourist facility.

Thanks to the high flexibility of production, we can take on and execute large orders in a very short time.

We offer our customers complete decoration of hotels, as we can produce fireproof doors for guest rooms and inner bathroom doors, which correspond with the furnishing style of the rooms. With the assistance of our business partners, we can also complete the in-room furnishings with beds, chairs, sofas, lighting and curtains.

We are aware that the satisfaction of our clients serves as the most important reference, and it is for this reason that we manage each project with an elevated sense of responsibility, completing it within mutually agreed deadlines.

Residential furnishings

Changes in our life style as well as in the most recent technology coincide with the changes in furniture design, however, nothing can compromise the golden rule: high-quality furniture with an exclusive design can turn an apartment into a real home.

The latter is what we offer our customers: furniture, adjusted to the room measurements provided by our customers, enabling maximum utilization and functionalism of available space.

This sort of furniture still manages to come across as a product manufactured by craftsmen, even though it is made using computer-aided machines. All furniture and other residential fittings are made on the basis of projects provided by our customers or on the basis of our own designs.

We can also complement our furnishings with household appliances, beds, chairs, sofas, curtains and lighting fittings.
