IJBA AT THE ILLINOIS STATE FAIR
ILLINOIS JUNIOR BEEF ASSOCIATION HOSTS MEMBERSHIP

Every year at the Illinois State Fair, the Illinois Junior Beef Association membership gathers the first night of the fair to kick off a week of events with an IJBA meeting, a pizza party and games! With over 100 members in attendance, IJBA Board of Directors welcomed beef showmen with updates, reminders, and the election of new junior board members.
IJBA President Lauren Wolter, of Aviston, kicked the meeting off with the introduction of the 2023-2024 board members, including Vice President Audrey Curtin; Secretary Grace Brown; Show/Promotions Chair Anne Dameron; and directors Kyle Eathington, Jack Jungmann, Adam Miller, Emma Taylor, Ben Sellmeyer, and Dellana Muck. Retiring directors Grace Brown and Dellana Muck were recognized for their hard work and
dedication to the IJBA Board over the last two years and awarded with retiring director gifts.
Elections were held to introduce three new directors and the board welcomed Toby Behrends (District 2), Cody York (District 4), and Myah Little (At-Large) to serve the IJBA for the next two years.
Additionally, Director Jack Jungmann introduced a new IJBA Photography Contest sponsored by Illinois Beef magazine that will kick off this coming winter. This photo contest will be open to all IJBA members for judging and award recognition at the 2025 Illinois Beef Expo. For more information about the IJBA Photography Contest, visit the link here.
