ROLE : PROJECT ARCHITECT — SCHEMATIC , DESIGN DEVELOPMENT & CONTRACT DOCUMENTATION STAGE

It is a refurbishment work to an existing 23 storey hotel building into a brand new flagship luxury hotel, Waldorf Astoria Kuala Lumpur. Leading the team for coordination with Client, various Consultants (local & International) and the new hotel Operator. Work along side the Director to ensure the brief for spaces, area, room mix, facilities and design intent are met. Prepared diagrammatic studies to ensure the new spaces are feasible with the limit of existing structure. Successfully lead internal project team to develop the scheme from Schematic design, Design development and to Contract documentation phases. Liaise closely with local authorities and team of consultants (local and international) to meet the design intend, client’s tight timeline and cost. Estimated contract value of RM 800mil
