From the Principal Heavenly Father, We li our voice in prayer for peace in our world. Amid con icts and unrest, we ask for Your interven on and guidance. You are the Prince of Peace, and we ask that Your peace would transcend borders and boundaries, permea ng every na on, community, and heart. Bring an end to violence, hatred, and division. So en hearts that have grown hardened, and replace animosity with understanding and love. May the desire for peace grow stronger within us, uni ng us in our pursuit of harmony and jus ce. Lord, let Your peace prevail. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

Welcome to our rst newsle er of Term 4. Please keep our Year 3 students in your prayers as they prepare to receive the Sacrament of Reconcilia on this term. Over the next few weeks, families will be involved in the Sacrament Parent Mee ng and retreat days as part of the prepara on to receive the Sacrament. We warmly invite our community to our Year Three Assembly on Thursday 26 October and to our Family Mass on Saturday 28 October. This is also one of the Reconcilia on Commitment Masses. We are Called Family Mass

The Rosary The month of October each year is dedicated to the Most Holy Rosary. This coincides with the liturgical feast of Our Lady of the Rosary on 7 October and was ins tuted to honour the Blessed Virgin Mary in gra tude for the protec on that she gives the Church in answer to the praying of the Rosary by the faithful. The Rosary is a simple, repe ve prayer by which we re ect on the life, death and glori ca on of Christ through the eyes and heart of his mother. The Rosary is one way we can prayerfully contemplate the mysteries of our faith. Joyful, Sorrowful, Glorious and Luminous mysteries are re ected on as we pray. During October, classes have been praying the Rosary, a very well-known prayer, giving thanks for the blessings we have received and praying for the needs of others in our community and around the world.

On Saturday 28 October 2023 all families are invited to Family Mass at Infant Jesus Church at 6.00pm. This is a special me for the Infant Jesus community and the Year Three students, families and teachers as this Mass is also one of the Commitment Masses for the Sacramental Program for First Reconcilia on. As we focus on this special me and the commencement of the sacramental prepara on, a commitment prayer from the children, the parents and the parish will be shared with the community. At this Family Mass the Infant Jesus School Choir will also be leading the singing and parents are invited and encouraged to volunteer for the o ertory procession or reading. Parents are very welcome to contact the o ce if they wish to volunteer.

They chose the season that connected to their birthday and used crepe paper and water to make a water stain as the background for their art piece.
